Show s Norma Jean Cobb to Reign With Utah Skating Royalty for 1956-5- 7 Norma Jean Cobb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett D. Cobb, Brigham City, was recently named first attendant to the Utah Skating Queen for 1956 in coronation festivities held in the Berthana Roller Rink in Ogden. Frank Francis, Joe Roden and Don Maroni judged the skaters on beauty and skating ability. ' Named queen was Verlene Wheeler, Murray, Miss Cobb, Miss Judith Ann Bosworth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arn- old W. Bosworth, Brigham City, plans to become the bride of Dean Fredrickson, son of Mrs. Mary Iverson, Naf, Idaho, Aug. 6, in the Logan LDS temple. The announcement of her engagement anj forthcoming marriage was made this week by her parents. A reception will fete the newlyweds the evening of the wedding in the Filth LDS ward recreation hall. The bride is a graduate The following births are announced from Cooley Memorial hospital: A boy was born July 26 to Arden Floyd and Marion Alenc Iverson Jensen, Salt Lake City. Rules of the contest specify that sisters can not both serve as members of the royal trio. There were ten finalists. Skating is a family affair for the Cobbs. Mrs. The eldest daughter, Frank (Colleen Cobb) Njaatvedt, Ogden, was beauty queen four years ago and is now a skating instructor and with her husthe band Crystal operates Springs skating rink. She participates in each skating show held in the Ogden ring and is a member of the skating club. Mrs. Njaatvedt just recently was awarded a skating cup held for ten years by one woman skater. She also took fourth place in Marysville, California, skating competition.
