Show f i Norris Larsen Family Sees Rose Parade -- Betrothal of Pauline Andersen Told BfaJcPcZ7eHm Mr. and Mrs. J. Norris Larsen and Children, Marilyn, Quinn, returned Elaine and Russell, Sunday evening, January 2, from a pleasant vacation. The family traveled to Cedar City where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Stephenson and family. Mr. Stephenson Is a professor at the University of Southern Utah. They continued on to Las Vegas where they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Johnson, former Brighamites. A side trip to Boulder Dam was most interesting. The Larsens and Johnsons enjoyed a floor show at the Thunderbird. on to The group traveled Phoenix, Arizona, then to Mesa where they saw the LDS temple. They also visited with rel' atives in Arizona. California was the next stop with the youngsters enjoying many "firsts." They saw the ocean and waded in it for the first time; saw numerous ships in the harbor; were excited over seeing oranges palm trees, growing on trees and being able Members of the Civic Improvement club apd invited guests enjoyed a delightful holiday program last Thursday, December 30, at the War Memorial home. Pett, program chairman for the day, introduced the two guests following a brief business session. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Henry L. Thorne, serving chairman, and her committee members.
