Gene Cobb, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Cobb, is in the Cooley hospital with fractures of the facial bones and numerous bruises resulting from a Saturday afternoon horse riding accident. The incident took place on Reservoir hill above the cemetery when Cobb was dragged with one foot in the stirrup and kicked in the face. No one saw the accident so the details are not clear. A specialist will be called on the case, according to the family.
