Show Inter mountain Students Visit Burley Brigham Man and Ogden Miss Wed Miss Anne Rasmussen, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. D. I. Rasmussen, 2864 Brinker Avenue, Ogden, became thb bride of Russell M. Rasmussen, son of Mr. and Mrs. iRudolph C. Rasmussen of Brigham City, on Friday. March 12, in the stately setting of the (Logan LDS temple. President A. George Raymond officiated. Bridal Luncheon The bridal luncheon was held at the Bluebird Cafe for immediate family members with the parents of the bridegroom as hosts. The newlyweds were furthered honored in the evening when the brides parents weie hosts at a reception held in the Og-de- n lnstitute of Religion. .The receiving rooms were ar- tistically arranged with large floral bouquets of white stocks and pink carnations. Lighted white tapers in tiered candelabra added a soft atmosphere to the setting. Gowned in Faille The bridal gown of creamy faille was designed and made by an aunt of the bride, Mrs. James M. Haran of Provo. The oval neckline and short sleeves of the bodice were fringed with imported lace delicately outlined with tiny sequins. Rows of small rosettes descended to her form fitting waistline, from which a soft pleated skirt, enhanced by a widely hooped petticoat flared to floor length. The full shoulder length veil of imported brides illusion was caught up to a cloche and a roses 'bouquet of large completed the attractive bridal outfit. Wore Taffeta Model The matron of honor, Mrs. John H. Allen, wore a changeable rose taffeta model styled with a Bertha collar, fitted bodice and skirt, which fell in soft gathers to waltz length. Identical Gowns Identical gowns in matching silvery green were worn by the e your Jodee (Billings, Miss Barbara Rasmussen and Miss Deon Rasmussen, sisters of the bridegroom, and Miss Julia Rasmussen, maid of honor, sister of the bride. Bouquets of pink carnations with candy tuft were carried by the attendants. Basil Williams stood with the bridegroom as best man. Ushers during the reception were: Darrell Rigby, David Rasmussen, brothers of the bridegroom, and Dwight Morrell. Mother of the bride selected a chiffon gown touch Miss bridesmaids, sky-blu- e South Box Elder stake presidency, high council members and partners ejijoyed a delightful St. Patricks theme party at the Mantua ward Monday evening, March 11. Hot turkey dinner was served to 37 from two long tables. The tables were decorated with pussywillows, ivy and philodendron. Opening, prayer and grace was offered by J. L. Roberts. Games were 'played following the meal. Feature of the evening- - was the cutting and serving' of a beautrfully decorated cake. Miss Wilma Larsen decorated the cake with accents of rosebuds and flowers in pink, white and pale green. The cake was also engraved with South stake presidency, clerk and high counsel. Serving were: Roberta Rob erts. Beth Bunnell, Carolyn Larsen, Renee Larsen, Elma Perry and Lydia Palmer. Bishop and Mrs. J. A. Meservy were especially honored during the evening. Bishop Meservy, who is now leaving the counsel because of Second ward bishopric duties, was presented a lovely gift from the group. Committee in charge were: Mr. and Mrs. J. Oleen Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Newell Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. H. Eugene Perry, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Bunnell and Mr. and Mrs. J. L.
