Scientific farming has paid artificial insemination in breeding and has had top results. Out of 12 calves the past season nine have been heifers. Two were lost, one a still-bortwin. Looking ahead Clyde has some beautiful heifers coming up. Part of fhe improvement program he has followed included an extensive painting project. Dressed up in a new coat of paint were the 'home, several of the farm buildings outside and, of course, the inside of the bam and milk bouse. Steady effort in the year, too, has paid off and is now neatly landscaped with an attractive fence, rock flower planting boxes and a rose garden.
