Nelson officiated at the ceremany. The following evening, December 30, the young couple was honored at a reception in the Perry ward ball. The receiving line stood before an archway of flowers. The brides gown was fashioned with a fitted bodice, Elizabethan satin collar ,tiny satin buttons, painted sleeves and full skirt. Her veil of nylon tulle was attached a Juliet cap.
