It was a cold night and the wind blew through the trees and in a little home the fire was burning fast. A mother was just going to tell a story. This is the story she told: A long, long time ago in a town of Bethlehem a baby was born in a stable. The baby had a kind look in his eyes. The mothers name was Mary and the fathers name was Joseph. They had- come far from their home in- Jerusalem, Then in a far off place there were three wise men. They saw there a bright star that glowed. When they saw the star they knew that a baby was bora. So they said to one another that they would like to go and see THE CHRISTMAS SURPRISE Once upon a time a long time ago there was a little girl who had no father or mother. They had been killed right before her eyes by the enemy- - The enemy had taken her brother away to Germany and she hadnt seen him since. Christma was near and she didnt have an place to go. She was very sad for she missed her brother. Almost every day she went to the store window and looked at - v ail the nice things.
