We borrowed your city park to eat our lunch In and rested there a little before continuing our Journey. I wish to thank you for both at this time belated as it might be. Your hospitality was very much appreciated. Finally we bought a bushel of peaches at a small stand near the city as we were leaving and hauled them three thousand miles home. The peach season is again on for we poor people tree who never see peaches ripe there is some nice fruit on the market however, and I and my family have enjoyed some of your fruit and of course another trip to your city for the sole purpose of getting a bushel of peaches is out of the question. I would like to impose further on your fine western hospitality and ask if it would be possible for you to put me in touch with some grower in your locality who would ship me a bushel of your fririt when it Is ready by rail express so that we might again enjoy this wonderful treat. Thank you again for your fine parade and hospitality, I only hope that it will not be too many years until we can again spend Peach Day with you. Sincerely, G. J. The pitcher for the game can be almost any of the three, Adams, Williams or Powers. The Peaches have been lucky in their games with Helper and have won them, by rather handy scores. The Helper Merchants have won one game in the second half race against four losses, and are resting next to Magna in the cellar of the league. will The rest of the line-uread about as follows. Bubak will be behind the plate and either Cowley or McHugh at first base. Gubbine on second and Faunce at shortstop. Gibbs, Nyman or Vard Johnson may start at third base for the Peaches. In the outfield, Bud Powers, the leading hitter on the Peaches squad, will be In left field, Cullimore in center and Van Orden or Nichols In right field. There is a chance that Chase may pull Cullimore back into the inIield,.move Nichols into center in order to make room for Van Orden in right.
