Show 'f Third Ward MIA Holds 4th Of July Program Tuesday Eve WT" t The Third ward MJjA. provided a gala evenings entertainment for all its ward members in attendance at their I 'Fourth of (July celebration held last Tuesday. The program started with thej by the singing of America congregation followed by the Invocation given by Evalu Mills. The assembly then took part in community singing under the leadership of N. V. (Watkins. Bernice Angerson gave a story entitled "The Man Without a Country, tying right In with the story; LaVerd John played the trumpet solo, (Flag Without a Stain. The next number I on the program was a tap dance and song by little Miss Sandra Lee Austin. The climax of the evening) came when the men, Cordell Nelson, Clifford (Watkins, Blaine Nelson and Garth Jensen, dressed in their best Wild West duds and the ladies, Ted (Harrison, Dale Robinette, Delone Jensen and Ellis Jensen, complete in sunbonnts, flowered skirts, off the shoulder blouses and high heels, presented a good old time square dance. The lovely ladies" charm and grace was long commented upon. The program concluded with the benediction offered by Clyde 'Armstrong, after which everyone departed t or square dancing. tv t: , Mr. and Mrs. Othello Stokes and children, Joyce, Dallas and Alan, returned to Brigham City last Friday following two weeks in California. Enroute they viewed the beauties of Zions park. While in California they visited at the home of M., and Mrs. Charles Stokes at North Hollywood. One of the highlights of their trip was attending Queen for a Mrs. Charles Stokes parDay, ticipated in the boadcast.
