Wallace West, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ruel EM. Eskelsen Sunday afternoon. Following dinner they made a tour of the Bear River Bird refuge. General West is adjutant general of Utah National Guard. General West and Mr. Eskelsen served together with the 22nd Field Artillery Battalion in World War II. General West, then Colonel, was transferred to the Ninth Armored divisiqn afld participated in the Battler)f the Bulge in Europe.
