There Bountiful took over on downs but fumbled and sophomore tacxle Leon Poulsen scooped up the ball and ran to the Braves stripe. Shio moved to the 15 and fullback Veron Smith, bulled for two yards but a backfitld-in-motioinfraction cost the Bees five yards. A pass fiom Shio to wingback Lewis Jones was complete but lacked a yard for first down and Bountiful took possession again. Makes Longest Run The longest run of the game came in the second quarter when Shio took a punt on his own 40 and scampered to the Bountiful 25 before being stopped. However, on the next play, Shio was hit hard, fumbled and Box Elder wound up with the ball on their own 48. A clipping penalty moved the pigskin to the Bee 37 for what turned out to be the longest loss of the day. Early in the third quarter, Smith line went to Bountifuls from the 32. However, another penalty called the play back. Vertis Anderson punted for the Purple and White out on the stripe. On the next play, Bountiful fumbled and Poulsen recovered again, this time on the 15.
