The commission plans, he said, to widen and move back the Ogden take-oroad and to pave a parking area in the Y. This intersection area will be the site for two new weighing stations, one for northbound, the other for southbound trucks. These stations will utilize three scales. Box Elder county commissioners will be asked to aid in providing adequate lighting at the junction, Bott said. When completed, the new weigh stations will re' place the one now in use just north of Perry. , J The meeting was called primarily to unite support for construction of a first class highway from Echo junction to Kendell junction, through Weber canyon and have it designated as part of the interstate highway system.' Johnson, Salt Lake City, chief engineer of the road commission; and Jack Craven, Ogden, district engineer, along with representatives from Cache, Box Elder, Rich, .Weber and Summit counties.
