The primary organization of the ward was reorganized with Mrs. Nora Gunderson, Mrs. Phyllis Owen and Mrs. Jean Packer, released with a hearty vote of thanks for the time 6erv ed in the welfare of the chil dren of the ward. Those sustained as officers were Mrs. Phyllis Owen as pres idenf, Mrs. Jean Packer as first counselor and Mrs. Affton Reese as second counselor. Charles Keller affected the organization. Benediction was offered by Frank Greenhalgh. Descendants of Valentine Valentine met Saturday afternoon, September 1, for annual family reunion at Rees Pioneer paik. A luncheon was served cafeteria style to 110 or 120 members present. N. J. Valentine offered opening prayer. The following program was presented: Two ukulele selections were played by Robert Valentine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Valentine of Palo Alto, California; Kimball Jacobs, son of Mr. and Mns. Heber Jacobs, gave a reading; a vocal duet was sung by Margaret and Carolyn Rose, daughters of Mrs. Ruth Sederholm Rose of Garland, and concluding vocal selection was a solo by Lee Valentine. The head of each family then introduced each member of his family. Four recently returned mis sionaries, Carl R. Sederholm, son of Mr. and Mia. Roger Seder holm; David Price, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudgar N. Price; Dale Valentine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Valentine of Salt Lake City, and Verona Kelsey, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Newell Kel Sey, also of Salt Lake City, re ported briefly on their missions. Reunion closed with the elec tion of president for the coming year. Merrill Valentine of Salt Lake City will serve as presi dent for 1951-52- . Roger Seder holm is retiring president and Mrs. Eva Valentine, secretary. Mr. Valentine will select his secretary. Mrs. Donald R. Jensen has been honored several times during the past few weeks at baby showers. A fami'y party in her honor was held recently at the home of Mrs. Larraine Knudsen. Lovely gifts were presented the guest of honor and light refreshments served. A party for family members and close friends was held August 22 at the home of Mrs. Roy Nicholas with Mrs. Abe Tracy as hostess. A luncheon was served and many beautiful gifts presented to Mrs. Jensen. Saturday afternoon fellow employees at the local telephone company met at the home of Mrs. Thurza Moyes in honor' of Mrs. Jensen.'
