They were especially interested in the Science exhibits. They took the ferry to Vancouver Island and while there visited the Butchart Gardens which they said were especially beautiful at night when they were lighted. They spent a night m the open on the banks of the Grand Coulee Dam and returned home by way of Yellowstone park. SOME 11 OF the 12 girls that graduated from the eighth grade in the Willaid school in June, 1942, gathered at the home of Melda Mund for a reunion. A buffet supper was served and 20 years of history brought up to date. They especially honored one of their group, Genevieve Bair Boss, who was to go in to the hospital for major surgery. Those there besides the hostess and guest of honor, all from the Ogden and Willard area were, Joan Wood Gilbert, Donna Taylor Carol Lowe Barker, Threadgold, Norma Tams North, Jean Graser Waite, Donna Parsons Bywater, June Archibald, Dorothy Wells and Charlene Lemon Archibald, Baddley Barlowe. Mary Jo Yates, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Kent Yates was blessed by her grandfather LaRue Yates. Holly Lynn Mund, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mund was confirmed by her father. In the Willard Second ward, John Wesley Mower, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mower, was confirmed by his father. DeMar Johnson, Son of Mr.r and Mrs. Willis Johnson, was confirmed by his father.
