Hibbert, newlyweds, have been honeymooning at Sun Valley. The pair exchanged nuptial vows Aug. 26 in the Salt Lake LDS temple with Elder Raymond H. Clayton presiding. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Ella Long, Brigham City. Mother of the bridegroom is Mrs. Agnes Hibbert, Boise, Idaho. cereFollowing the wedding breakfast was mony, wedding served at the dining room of Hotel Temple Square. Open house feted the newlyweds the same evening at the home of the brides mother. Gowned in Lace The new Mrs. Hibbert was lovely in a gown of Chantilly lace and tulle. A scalloped Sabrina neckline and long tapering sleeves were featured on the bodice with skirt floor length. A full apron effect formed the front of the skirt with a double row of tulle at the edge of the apron. Rows of tulle ruffles softened the back detail of the beautiful gowa She wore a veil of brides illusion caught up to a taira. Pink Mavtime carnations formed the bridal bouquet. Her only attendant was Mrs. Richard (Josette Peters) Long, a of of Brigham City, this week issued an invitation to all officers, commit-te- s and members of Civic Club to attend the Fall Council meeting to be held Sept. 12 at the University of Utah in Salt Lake. Registration will begin at 9.30 a. m. and general sessions will be held at 10 a. m. in the Little Theatre in the new Union building. Guest speaker will be Richard Poston, director of the department of commercial development at the University of Southern Illinois. Departmental sessions will also be held and ideas exchnaged. Reservations for the 1 p. m. luncheon have been set at $1.50 per plate. Ladies intending to go to the meeting are asked to call Mrs. Mills for reservations before Thursday, Sept. 10 771 Reunion Attender Returns to Calif. He is a graduate of University of Colorado school of medicine, and has served his rotating internship at the Dee hospital for the past year. Haight, 1955 East 21 South, Salt Lake City. Mrs. Keller, who now resides at East, was born Sept. 4, 1879, in Bear River City, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Hansen. She was married to James H. Kel- North and South Box Elder Farm Bureau Talent Show was presented to an appreciative audience on Wednseday evening, Aug. 26, at Bear River High school. Floyd Carter was master of ceremonies and the event was held in connection with Box Elder County Fair. First place winners in senior, middle and junior divisions will now compete in Utah State Fair Talent Show. Taking top honors in the senior division was . Genevieve Burt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Burt, Brigham City. She played a piano selection. Second place went to Ralph Morris of Elwood following his vocal solo. Middle division top position is held by Kathy Young, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Young, Perry. Miss Young played a violin number to a recording of her own piano accompaniment. Ruth Ann Hodges, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hodges, of Fielding, rated second place. In the junior division the Secrist sisters and their rendition of May You Always, gained first prize for Linda 14, Kathy 10, Annette 9, and Joan 7, all daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Secrist, Fielding. They were charming in especially white lace dresses accented with red, made by their mother. The Carlyle Larkin children of Willard were second. The Larkin youngsters, Bonnie, Jean, Jack and Don tied with Judy Green, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Green, as she sang a vocal solo. - Mrs. S. E. Snow has been enjoying visits from family members. Here from his teaching post at University of North Dakota was Hess Snow and his wife. , San Diego, Calif., visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bailey and sons, Brad and Scott. Mrs. Bailey is the former Olive Ruth Snow. Visitors left for their homes on ler, Feb. 14, 1899, in Logan. He died in 1956.
