Show HffMH Miss Shirley Ann Wixom and Basil Combe Speak WeddingVows on June 3 iii Ceremonies at Elko Couple United in Temple Ceremony Impressive LDS temple wedding vows were exchanged by Grace Elaine Burt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Burt, Brigham City, and Robert L. Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Hansen, Brigham City on May 26. The ygung couple was united in marriage in the presence of family members and friends with President A. close George Raymond officiating. Dinner Held A wedding dinner was held following the temple rites at the home 6f Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Petersen, an aunt and uncle of the bride, in Logan. Reception Fetes Couple The same evening at the Burt home in Brigham City, a wedding reception feted the newlyweds. The rooms were lovely with bouquets of spring flowers. The mantle was also decked with blossoms. Lovely in Lace For the wedding and reception the bride chose a gown of white nylon lace over taffeta. r It featured a fitted bodice, length sleeves, a Mandarin collar and tiered ballerina length skirt. A Istartched lace hat encrusted with rhinestones and seed pearls held the veil of nylon net edged with lace. Her boilquet was df white and red rosebuds with detachable corsage. Attendants in Pastels Standing as matron of honor was Mrs. Wm. J. Stoddard, sister of the bride. Miss Maureen Carroll was maid of honor and Miss Dorothy Hansen, sister of the bridegroom was bridesmaid. Little Marilyn Hansen, bridegrooms sister, was flower girl and Brian Burt, brother of the . bride, was page, All attendants wore gowns of pastel shades and carried baskets of spring flowers comple three-quarte- mentary to their gowns. Mrs. Burt chose a pink linen gown accented with lace. Mrs. Hansen wore blue linen with dewdrop pearl accents. Both wore corsages of rosebuds and carnations. Reid Hansen was best man with Wm. J. Stoddard, Deverell Olsen, Gerald Dunn as ushers. The bridegroom and best man wore white dinner jackets with red boutonnieres in the lapels. Other men in the wedding party wore white carnation boutonnieres. Cake Displayed Displayed during the evening was a lovely white four tiered wedding cake beautifully decorated with pink and green rosebuds and topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom.1 Host and hostess for the evening were Mr. and Mrs. F. The bride Is a student at Box Elder High school. Mr. Combe is a 1953 graduate ot Weber High school and is now engaged in business with his father, who owns and operates the Valley Nursery. The newlyweds plan to reside at Uintah. Plans are being made for parties to honor the newlyweds in the near future.
