(Dick) York, a printer at the Box Elder News and Journal for several years following World War II, died Monday morning in Twin Falls, Idaho after an illness of about a year. 'For a period of almost three years he was manager of the Job printing department at the Brigham City newspaper. He had also worked as a printer in Twin Falls, Kimberly and Denver .Colorado. IHe was born April 20. 1921 in Minden. Neb. and had resided in Twin Falls since 1928. He married Cleo Buster July 22, 1943 in Twin Falls. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 P. M. at the White Mortuary chapel in Twin Falls. Burial, with military rites, will be in Twin Falls. Irrigation company canal. They also observed a good seeding of tall wheat grass three to five feet high on land that had been to salty for any other crops. Next the group visited the Ruion Larkin farm where Mr. Larkin pointed to the beneficial effects of nitrogen fertilizer on grain and the effect of phospor-ou- s on young seedlings of alfalfa. Ruion called attention to the results of land leveling and the importance of top soil which had been removed. All three of these men are in the South Box Elder Soil Conservation district and are making use of the assistance available to them, said Lester Knight.
