Adams, and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Barrus. Bishop and Mrs. Jon Thompson and family met their nephew, Duran Thompson, at Salt Lake City airport Friday. He was returning from an LDS mission in Chile. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Thompson, parents of Duran, and other children, had come from Phoenix to meet their son. The families attended the circus that evening. Sunday family members met at the Jon Thompson home for dinner. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Mac Thompson and family, Mr. and Mrs. David Thompson and children, and Mrs. Ora Thompson. A large group of elders and their wives met for a steak dinner at the park Friday evening. Everyone enjoyed the dinner with appetities sparked by the nippy fall weather. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Marble and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wheatley were general chairmen for the occasion. A financial report was given by quorum president David Thompson which showed good results from the operation of the cook shack during the ball games this summer. He expressed appreciation to all those people who had scheduled the working crews for the evenings and to those who purchased the food which was used during the summer months at the shack, as well as to all those who worked at the shack. It was good to learn the Gary Wansgard family was in town Sunday. They had come from their home in Lewiston, Idaho, to visit relatives and attend General Conference. They visited at the Horace Lish home. Mrs. Henry Marble had a family dinner at her home Sunday. It was the 70th birthday of Loren Marble. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Marble and family, Mrs. Robert Evans and daughters from Malad, Mary Marble, Ogden, Beva Marble, Denver, Colo. Beva had come for the weekend and returned to Denver Sunday evening. Drug company official visits area F.W. Frantz, director of Pharmaceutical Marketing, Warner Lambert International, the parent company of Parke Davis Pharmaceutical company was in Tremonton Wednesday to interview and record a conference session concerning the use of the many new drugs in the various arthristis with Dr. Jack Johnson. The Johnsons were honored to have F. W. Frantz who lives in MUFFIT, a border collie pup approximately three months old, who's looking for a good home. MEET loves to play with children and won't grow to be very big. Call Ellie Hale of the Golden Spike Humane Society at Muffit Morris Plains, N. J. as a guest in their home after a dinner a Maddox Ranch house in Perry which was also attended by Frank Landvatter, a clinical research monitor with the Park Davis company. Landvatter is a former resident of Tremonton. Dr. Johnson has been working for the past four years with a new drug, Meclo-me- n (C I 583) developed by the Parke Davis and Warner Lambert laboratories.
