The family enjoyed lunch and supper together and spent the day visiting and playing games and also doing a little geneology. Nielson of Brigham City announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Janna to David D. Tyler, son of Mr, and Mrs. Dale of Bountiful. September 17 is the date chosen by the young couple for their wedding, which will take place in the Logon LDS . temple A garden reception will be held the same evening at the home of her parents. The following evening they will be honored at on open house in Bountiful. ' Miss Nielson is a graduate of Box Elder High school. She was. a member of. the NatiopolHonor, society and was listed In Who's Who frtAmericanHigh Schools. She has , been attending Brigham Young university. The prospective bridegroom graduated from Viewmont High school In Bountiful, where he lettered in basketball and golf. He attended Ricks Junior College for one year, playing basketball there also. After serving an LDS mission to Tawiwan Taipei, he attended Brigham Young university. Following their marriage, the couple will live in .C. Tyler ' , MISS CAROL RICHARDS g J ' Willard Bay chapter of Utah Young Homemakers association will hold a family picnic Saturday, Aug. 28, at pre-rode- ct Homemakers set on gave instructions for the constructions of the member's record books and passed out the necessary papers. Then all the members who were planning to give a demonstration at the county contest gave the club a preview of their demonstrations. Members were reminded of the demonstration contest, Monday, Aug. 23 at 8:30, the horse judging contest Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. Both are to be at the county fair grounds. Thursday, the Bear River Broncos are to ride in the county parade, Friday we will all show at the county horse show. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we will participate in o the entertainment so you can see that we have a very busy week ahead of us. Susan and Sylvia Grimmett furnished refreshments. The young couple will exchange nuptial vows in a double-rinceremony in the presence of Immediate members of both families and a few close friends. That evening the newlyweds will be feted at a reception held at the Bowcutt Reception center in Tremonton hosted by the bride's parents. They will be further honored at an open house hosted by the groom's parents held in the Fifth Ward cultural hall in Soda Springs on Sept. 25. The bride-eleis a graduate of Bear River High school and LDS Seminary. She has attended Utah State university and was on the Dean's list. This fall she will attend the University of Utah in Salt Lake City majoring in elementary education and early childhood. Anderson is a graduate of Soda Springs High school and LDS Seminary. He attended Utah State university. He was also on the Dean's list. He fulfilled an LDS mission in Denmark. He is now enrolled at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City majoring in mining engineering. Following ashort honeymoon the young couple will make their home in Salt lake! City? r' ' tt . Richards of Fielding, will become the bride of Eli Holland Anderson. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Max H. Anderson of Bothwell. The young couple will exchange nuptial vows in a ceremony in the Logan LDS temple in the presence of immediate members of both families and a few close friends. President Ezra C. Lundahl will officiate at the doublering ceremony. Immediately following the ceremony the bridal party will be feted at a wedding breakfast hosted by the groom's parents held at Maddox Ranch House in Perry. That evening the newlyweds will greet guests at a reception held at Bowcutt's Reception Center in Tremonton, hosted by the bride's parents. The bride-eleis a graduate of Bear River High school and LDS Seminary. She attended Utah State university. She is currently employed at Wurlitzer company in Logan. The groom also graduated from Bear River High school and LDS Seminary. He attended Utah State University. He recently returned after fulfilling a LDS mission in Minneapolis, Minn. He is presently assisting his father in farming. Following a short honeymoon the new couple will make their home in Bothwell. 1 ii ct tlr I Sparks defends country club champ title 6:30 p.m. in one Of the group areas at Box Elder canyon campground. Main item on the menu will be a pit barbecue beef prepared under the direction of Dale Hotrimlmes, along with the mings including potatoes, carrots, salad, dessert and bever age. This is an occasion planned for chapter members, their husbands, and children and promises to be an evening of fun for all ages. Cost will be $1.50 for adults and 75 cents for children. All members are urged to attend. Cill Sparks retained her championship status with the Brigham City Country club auxiliary after two days of tournament play Aug. 8 at the local course, winning low 17-1- gross over Alma Bryant's second place. Low net winner in the championship flight was Carrie Rennick. In the second flight Pat Conlon scored low gross, with Sharon Brailsford in second place. Sandra Smith won the low net prize for that flight.
