Watte Members of the Willard Lions club and their wives met at the Maddox Ranch House in Perry on Wednesday for their annual installation dinner. Special visitors were Past Governor District John Arrington and his wife Vera from Ogden. Arrington conducted installation ceremonies installing Tom Christensen, president; LeRoy Dowdle vice Eldon president; treasurer, secreatry Watts, Ira Achibald, tailtwister; Dale Zito liontamer, and as two year directors, Chester Keyes and Cameron Buck. Holdover directors with one year to serve are Lewis Harding and Irvil Younger. Those present were Boyd and Beverly Nelson, Ira and Ira Archibald, Jesse and Arline Holden, Tom and Joan Christensen, Dale and Karen Holmes, Gay and Helen Pettingill, Glen and Pat Woodyatt, LeRoy and Francis Irvil and Doris Dowdle, Younger, Eldon and Madge Watts, Cameron and Janae Buck, Barte and Sheila Hoppie, Don and DeRae Christensen, Lewis and Ruth Harding, Chester and Grace and Keyes and Wayne Priebe. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Priebe were Waynes grandniece and nephew Robin and Bobbie Frees. Robin visited in Los Angeles and San Francisco and was joined there by her brother Bobbie. They traved from Los Angeles through Las Vegas to Salt Lake City and Willard. They returned to their home in Westlake, Ohio, West Cleveland, planning Cheyenne, traveling via and Omahoa, Chicago Cleveland. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. J. Perry are their Wesley Robert and four from Hacienda Mrs. daughter (Carolyn) daughters Kelly Heights, Calif. Robert plans to join them here for a visit before they return home. Visitors on father's day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Kunsler were children and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Boekveg and family from Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kunzler and family from Provo. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Watts were their daughter Mrs. Miles Allred and daughters Loretta and Richelle from Ogden. Visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Harding is their daughter Mrs. Randy (Lynette) Pissot and daughter Erica from Fresno Calif. They returned home with them and sons Keith and Scott after they had spent a week visiting in Fresno. While there they went to Carmel by the Sea and enjoyed the beach and the ocean. Conference visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Harding was Mrs. Harding's sister-in-laMildred Evenson from Taber, Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Holden spent their vacation of 10 days in Grand Coulee, Wash, where they visited with sister and brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Keith Durrant. They said the water in the Grand Coulee dam was very low, because of mild winter and vegetation in Warhington was very dry. The Keith Durrants have joined them in Willard to spend two weeks visiting and doing genealogy. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Braith-wait- e and Mrs. Richard Braegger visited in Salt Lake with Mrs. Braitheaites sister Mrs. Celia Lyon and with w w daughter-in-la- w t 1 Stake Mutual board. This is the third year she has received this award. Merlene Braegger with Delores Merrill and LaRue Hensen from Brigham City represented the Box Elder South stake at June conference in Salt Lake City on Friday and Saturday. Besides attending regular sessions of conference they attended the dance festival on Friday night. Neil Braegger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Braegger, is serving in the Pennsylvania mission. His present address is Elder Neil L. Braegger, 114 Church Street, Media, Penn., Mrs. Aloha Garn graciously entertained members of the variety club at her home Wednesday evening. Special guests were Mrs. Jeannie Christensen and Mrs. Carolyn Larson. A delicious luncheon was enjoyed. Mrs. Larson was welcomed as a new member of the club. Prizes went to Mrs. Arlene Oyler, Mrs. Barbara Udy and Mrs. Lila Miller. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Coombs during the week were Mr. and Mrs. M.E. Hansen and Mr. Mrs. Vernon Coombs and family of Salt Lake City. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lott and family during the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Bob (Margie) Ashworth of Payson and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Lott and family of Blackfoot. for her home in Bethesda, Md. after spending leaving the past month visiting relatives in this area. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Adams were delighted to receive a letter from their daughter Elaine stating she will be arriving for a visit sometime in August. For the past two years Elaine has been employed by the American Embassy in New Dehli, India. Prior to arriving in Utah she plans to tour Italy, Germany and England. Upon arriving in the states she will spend sometime in Washington D.C. and New Orleans, La. before coming to Utah. Friends and relatives of Elaine are looking forward eagerly to her visit.
