Capacity Crowd Attends Ward Dinner, Auction " The ward dinner and auction held in the cultural hall last Saturday night was enjoyed by f capacity crowd. Tanaka from Tremonton was the auctioneer. Their grandson Larry is one of the players on the team. Chester, Bessie, Curtis and Karen Christensen attended a wedding reception in Burley, Idaho on Saturday night for Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. John Grimmett and daughters Sylvia and Susan from Salt Lake City spent Thanksgiving with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Paskett. A lovely buffet dinner was served followed by a series of games which was enjoyed by all. Special guests were all members of the ward bishopric and their wives, On Saturday night the Lemon; Judy piano, and Linda Lemon Hansen piano. Refreshments were served by the mutual presidency. Three young eight year olds were confirmed in the Willard Second ward on Sunday after being baptized at the stake center Friday night. They were Terri Ann Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Nelson; Connie Keyes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Keyes and Shane Loftus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Loftus. Christmas theme continued With a dinner and program held the Willarg ward Primary fficers and teachers and their partners. Dinner was served at tables Ldecorated with . Christmas center pieces and favors. Special program was presented by Wayne and Joan Butler and children Scott, Kirk, and Janae from Brigham City. They presented numbers including, instrumental, vocal, and readings. Other numbers included a reading by Calene Bund, Piano solo by Sherry Wells and a Christmas story by Rachel Folsom. Special guests at the party were members of the bishopric and their wives. Door prizes made by Judy Braegger was won by Clifford Woodland. . Artists Festivals The Young Artists Festivals held in the two wards on Tuesday and Wednesday presented programs of very special talent. In the Willard Ward MIA on Tuesday night artists included Tyler Barker, piano, Jean Loveland, coronet; Nancy Braegger, violin; Holly Mund and Colleen Barker, piano and organ; Lynn Kunzler French horn; Vicki Vickerey and Judy Loveland clarinets; Keith Larsen, viola; Cheri, organ; Donna Kunzler, clarinet; Lisa Baddley and Michelle Mund, piano; Larry Kunzler, piano and Susan Dokos, piano. Visiting In Willard Mr.'E. F. Kubala from Edmond, Okla. spent two weeks visiting in Willard with Jay daughter and and Lucille Pierce. She was here to help out while both Jay and son Jeff underwent major surgery. She flew both ways and enroute home was detoured to Austin, Texas and traveled home by bus because of weather conditions.
