County Road Supervisor Ed Silvester reported that the road in the Grouse Creek area has been washed out three times in the past two weeks. Another washout was reported on the road between Wendover and the McKellar ranch. Further flood to damage roads was reported by Charles Kunzler of Park Valley, who told the commissioners that the road to the Kunzler ranch is a bog hole, explaining that last years spring floods took the gravel off the road and after this year's storms, the road is hardly passable. He reported that previous promises of county help had not yet been received. MORE ROAD DAMAGE from recent floods was reported on the Dove Creek road in the Park Valley area, where it was reported that a wire netting fence has been covered over with gravel. The commissioners said action would be taken to have gravel put on these roads as soon as it can be worked into the road departments schedule. Representatives of the Tremonton area asked for improvements on the county road leading to the Boy Scout camp area east of Tremonton. Silvester asked the commission to consider the possibility of purchasing a three-seate- d vehicle to haul the road employees back and forth to their projects rather than paying them $2 travel allowance where the project is more than 20 miles from the county road sheds. He was instructed to try one out and see if it would work satisfactorily. A PROPOSAL OF J. D. Harris on a trade of land in the Tremonton area was accepted by the commission.
