She traveli d to St. George on Sept. 22 where she held a Council of Administration meeting and plans for the coming year were discussed bv the various department chairmen. Plans were also discussed for the coining visit of national president Elfrieda Tice of Mitchell, S. D who will arrive in Utah on Nov. 11. Organization meeting of the Box Elder High school Faculty Ladies league was held on Monday, Oct. 22, in the faculty room at the local high school. Musical numbers were presented by a girls trio from South of Cache High school composed Kathy Peterson, Tama and Penny Larsen. OFFICERS elected during the evening were Mrs. Donald as president, Mrs. F.d Payne as vice president, and Mrs. Roland Gourley as secretary. Refreshments were served by a committee comprised of Mrs. Donald Stenquist, Mrs. Ed Payne, Mrs. Donna Hurst, Mrs. Allen Mrs. Vernal Harris and Page, Mrs. Reid Olsen. Mrs. Clinton Burt, vice president; Mrs. Boyd - American Legion Auxiliary met Monday, Oct. 22, at the War Memorial Home Program was under direction of Mabel Forsgren, chairman of the educational program. A REPORT on Girls State was given by Nancy Burtcher, and Hazel Ransom gave a report on the National American Legion convention. A double trio of the Fourth LDS ward Singing Mothers presented two numbers. They were Lucy Wright, Lola Nielsen, Ida Edna Hadfield, Arda Everton, Farrell, Lillian Knudsen, accompanied by Mary Olsen. Mrs. Ruth Armstrong conducted the meeting, with other comMabel mittee members being Balls, Vera Burt and Mamie Adamson. Refreshments were served. No reservations ire Civic Club to World Community Day Plans Told By United Church Women United of Box Elder Council Church Women will sponsor' the World Community annual Day services on Friday, Nov. 2, at the Protestant Student Center. Following the fellowship time at 10 a. m. the services will begin at 10:30 a. m. The LDS Indian Branch will hold a special dinner on Friday, Oct. 2G, at 6:30 p. m. with serving continuing until 7:15 p. m. Purpose of the dinner is a kickoff of the branchs annual budget drive. Preparing the dinner will be the Relief society, with young ladies of the ward serving. An entertaining program is being planned by Marion Davidson, according to general chairman of the event.
