The Wells men turned it over to the tounty sheriffs office for investigation and identification. Upon contacting the sheriffs department concerning the find it was learned that the parachute was from Hill Field and is a weather recording apparatus used by the Air Force. Many similar boxes have been found in this area and turned back to the U. S. The boys have been taking a first year cooking project under the leadership of Rosalie Wells and Helen Brown.
