BY REAPPORTIONING REPRESENTATIVES AMONG THE SEVFRAL C'OF THE STATE ACCORDING TO THE 1950 CENSUS, AND BY AUTHORIZING THF I.EGIS-LATO DECRE SE AS RE THE WELL AS INCREASE NUMBER OF REPRESENTATIVES. Be it resolved by the legislature of of the State of Utah, all members elected to each bouse concurring therein: Section 1. It is proposed to amend Secs. 2, 3 and 4 of Article IX of the Constitution of Utah to rend: Sei tion 2. The Legislature shall provide by law for an enumeration of the inhabitants of the State, A. D. 1905, and every tenth year thereafter, and at the session next following such enumeration, and also at the session next following an enumeration made by the authority of the United States, shall revise and adjust the apportionment for representatives on the basis of such enumeration to to be fixed ratios by law. Section 3. The Senate shall con sist of one member from each county of the State, and the House of of seventy-fiv- e Representatives members. The Legislature may increase or decrease the number of representatives, but the number of representatives shall never be less than twice nor greater than three times the number of senators. Section 4. Each county of the state shall constitute a senatorial district. REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICTS. Until otherwise provided by law, representatives shall be apportion ed among the several counties of the State as follows: Provided, That in any future apportionment made by the Legislature, each county sball be entitled to at least one rej rentative. The Coui.tv of Box Elder shall constitute the First Representative District, and be entitled to two representatives. The County of Cache shall constitute the Second Representative District, and be entitled to three representatives. The Countv of Rich shall con stitute the Third Representative District, and be entitled to one representative. The Countv of Weber shall constitute the Fourth Representative District, and be entitled to eight representatives. The County of Morgan shall constitute the Fifth Representative District, and be entitled to one representative. The County of Davis shall constitute the Sixth Representative District, and be entitled to three representatives. The Countv of Tooele shall constitute the Seventh Representative District and be entitled to one representative. The County of Salt Lake shall constitute the Eighth Represents tive District, and be entitled to twpnty-seve- n representatives. The County of Summit shall constitute the Ninth Representative District, and be entitled to one representative. The Countv of Wasatch shall constitute the Tenth Representative District and be entitled to one representative.
