The Peaches had worked to a 4 to 1 lead going into the top of the ninth inning. Williams had pitched beautiful but hard, all the way having allowed but five hits. Three of these hits had been bunched in the ixth Inning for the visitors only score at that point. Lamer led off the Inning by skying out to Powers in left field. Green then tagged his long home run into left center field to make the score read 4 to 2 with only one may away in the inning. Mayne pushed one on the ground to Paul at third base and the boys made the first error of the game for the Peaches to put a runner on first. Milne then' came to bat and Williams walked him to put runners on first and second with 'Jacobs the batter. Jacobs then parked the ball into left center field to score three runs and put the visitors in front for the first time in the game. The Peaches came to bat in the bottom of the inning and tied it up with Powers starting with a single and finally scoring. Then in the top of the tenth, the visitors took advantage of every break to ram over plenty of clincher runs, a total of 8, and that was the ball game. Next week the Peaches tangle with Magna here in Rees Pioneer park.
