Council elects officers for biennium Women's Legislative Council of Box Eider county installed new officers for the coming biennium at a meeting and social held Wednesday, April 4, at the Tremonton senior citizens center. Miss Afton Forsgren, retiring president of the Utah State Womens Legislative Council, was the speaker at this concluding meeting of the current reviewed She season. legislation and bills of the 1973 Utah Legislature. The installation of new officers was also conducted by Miss Forsgren, with Marjorie Childs installed as president. She will be assisted during the term by Joan kimber, first vice president; KarLee Green, second vice president; Ruth Shumway, recording secretary; treasurer; Ruth Iverson, Mabel Christenson, director. A social honoring the new officers and Miss Forsgren was held followed the Installation of officers. Mrs. Owen has been with the Museum-Galler- y since its opening, and is now looking forward to the May 9 third home landscape Willard Young Bay Homemakers will hold their regular meeting on Thursday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m. in the Willard elementary school. Guest speaker for the evening will be Harold Lindsay, USU extension agent for Box Elder County, whd" will discuss land- scaping and" home gardening. Also included on the evenings agenda will be the installation of new officers.
