LION WAYNE Loveland Keith Freeman as a new member in the Lions club, stressing the motto of Lionism: We Serve. Lion Myrland Balls introduced Cliff Hansen of Mantua as his guest. A token of appreciation for past service was a plaque, given to each of the past president who are still members of the club. They were J.D. Gunderson, Glen F. Leland Seely, E. The plaque was a polished walnut upon which a bronze plate was empaneled with the recipients name, office ten-ur-e and club name inscribed. Dennis Petersen found his farm on the Blue Creek divide ransacked and tools, and oil missing. Damage to the farm and value of the missing items was $500. The thieves gained entry through a door on or about March 15, according to deputies.
