Show - BEHS Students Bird Haven District Schedules Boy Daisy Hansen Rate in State Scout Camporee at Little Mountain Named B.P.W. Forensic Meet scheduled for all Boy Scouts in the Bird Haven District to take place Frifrom day and Saturday, April Six forensics students , Box Elder High school received excellent and good ratings dur- ing the annual state forensic at meet Friday and Saturday the University of Utah. Gordon was rated "excellent and Ivan Emory was In the oratory rated .good competition. . ratings Receiving "excellent forum were In the legislative Roy ifeyer and Odell Wood, while Winn Parker and William Hudson were rated "good" in : the same forum. j There were 310 students from 40 .high schools entered in the tournament which was sponsored. by the University of Utah Extension .Division and Speech department 'A Camporee has been 20-2- at Little Mountain. Plans for the Camporee show that registration will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday. The Troop sites will be marked and ready for occupancy as the Troops arrive. Each Troop will furnish their own .water supply. Charcoal is specified to be used for fuel during the two days. Each Troop mut bring a satisfactory First Aid kit. Vehicles will not be allowed in the camping arca Camp sites will be judged during the encampment. Activities outlined during the event Include the following: Morse Burning string contest; Code Compass contest, the and Scout Handbook, compass pencil will be needed for this event; Rope pulling contest; and a Knot tying contest, with one yard of 14 inch rope needed.
