This week many elk hunter, are taking to the mountains; next week its duck season and the following week, deer. Now the problem is to restrict the slaughter to elk, (leer and ducks. We humans hate to lie killed. In fact we even hate to be shot buck. Dont ask how or why! Perhaps its too much whiskey too early. Perhaps its a form of buck fever. Nevertheless the fact remains that every year hunters are maimed, killed and scared nearly to death by careless hunters hurling lead around like so many snowballs.
