Show and six of these members i assisted in the Box Elder county chorus of forty-si-x voices who furnished two musical numbers on the program. They witnessed the oldtime dances demonstrated by several of the camps near Salt Lake City. Those who stole the show were two sets of dancers from the Second ward in Salt Lake' City who were up in years, some of them in their eighties, but they danced beautifully the dances of their youth. Their veteran caller with his clear voice, gave what would seem complicated calls to the moderns of today but was easily understood and executed by them. Corinne Pour Girls clubs and their leaders loaded their suitcases and' sleeping equipment into three trucks and traveled to Willow Flat in the Franklin Basin at Franklin, Idaho, where they joined other clubs from Box Elder county and enjoyed a three-daouting. Handicrafts were - taught the girls and each evening they gathered around th ebonfire for talks, stories and skits which the girls put on. The forest ranger located there told them bear stories and talks were given by Vernal IWillie and Bessie Hansen. The last evening a pajama parade - throughout the camp was the girls way of finishing off the program. The Junior 'Posse with their leader Glen Reeder held their annual summer outing for four days up in the mountains. They trucked their horses to Mantua where they camped for the first night. From there they rode horseback through the mountains to Monte Cristo where th?y made camp and made trips each day from this camp. The last day in camp several of the parents came up and spent the day with the boys. The Boy Scouts chose for their camping place .this summer a place in the canyon south of Avon and there spent three days hiking, learning different handicrafts and the usual boy scout activities Wm. Welch, their leader, accompanied them. They ! made the trip by truck. Members of the Corinne D. U. Elder Baker was a companion of Lloyd Hubbard for eleven months while in the mission field."'
