Named as TOPS queen for the month was Ruth Jensen, who received a charm and the traveling trophy. Vaudis Sanford was named KOPS queen of the month and received a red rose and the traveling trophy. She also attended Brigham Young university in Provo. She was employed as a waitress at the Snowville cafe and at a local cafe in Tremonton. Her husband is a dairyman. Following their marriage, Wynn spent three years with the National Guard in Korea. LaDene remained with her parents during this time. Later they made their home in Fort Sill, Okla., for two years. They now have a lovely new brick home in West Fielding. CIVIC ...... Miss Shauna Lewis and William A. Lawrence were united in marriage in a ceremony performed by Bishop John P. Holmgren in the Bear River City LDS ward recently. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lewis of Bear River City. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melbourne G. Lawrence of Tooele. That evening the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception in the Bear River City ward cultural hall. LaDene is blessed with a beautiful singing voice and is requested to sing at many public gatherings. She also sings in a trio. She accompanies her husband to the various communities where he represents the high council and she furnishes music for the program. Never idle, LaDene delights in doing mod podge, makiifg her own clothes and sewing for her daughters. She also makes afghans, ties quilts, etc. for pastime. She is presently serving as choristor in the Belmont ward. She is also chairman of the Northern Box Elder Ladies Farm Bureau. As a family the Zundels enjoy camping, boating and traveling. Just recently LaDene and Wynn were in Guadamala in connection with the National Farm Bureau convention. Matron c. sugar, juice of 1 lemon, ground pie cherries, 1 c. water. Serve over angel food cake, or white cake. 2 ROQUETFORT DRESSING 2 c. mayonnaise, 1 small grated onion, c. sour cream, 3 wedges Roguetfort cheese crumbled, 2 T. vinegar, generous pinch garlic salt, Beat all ingredients together and serve. Keep well 1 refrigerated. CORN FLAKES SQUARES com flakes, 3 c. Rice Krispies, 1 c. nuts, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. syrup, 1 c. thin cream. Cook last three ingredients to a soft ball stage. Mix with the firsts ingredients. Handle as little as possible. FROZEN PIE CHERRY JAM HANGING reception, the bride wore a long gown of white satin with an overlay of lace. It was styled with a soft ruffle at the neckline, puff sleeves of chiffon, and a ruffle at the wrist. She wore a long veil of bridal illusion trimmed with lace and carried a bouquet of roses, mums, and baby breath to complete her ensemble. Four Sons, Two Daughters They have four sons and two daughters Mrs. Greg (Marsha) Iverson of Bear River City; Carla of Salt Lake City; Randy, atudentat Utah State university in Logan; Bruce who has been chosen vicepresident of the studentbody at BRHS for the coming year; Kirt who will be a sophomore and Rod who will be in sixth grade. They also have three grandchildren. Our boys are active in athletics and we attend lots of rodeos and wrestling meets where they participate, LaDene said. Rod is taking a cooking class in school and his brownies and hot cakes are really good. Today she shares some of her choice recipes with pkg. active dry yeast, 1V4 c. very warm water, 1 T. sugar; 1 tsp. salt, 1 T. soft butter, 4 c. flour, Sprinkle yeast into V4 c. of water, stir until dissolved. In a large bowl, dissolve sugar and salt in remaining 1 c. of water. Add butter and yeast. Mix well and add flour, work through dough with spoon at 10 min. intervals for 5 consecutive times. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and divide in half. Shape into 2 balls and let rest 10 min. Roll each ball like a jelly roll, seal edges. Cover and let raise 1 hours.
