Christian Reformed special service to commemorate the suffering and death of Christ will be held tomorrow night (Good Friday) at 7:30 p.m. The service will be climaxed by the celebration of the Lord's Supper. An Easter Sunrise service, in cooperation with the Protestant Student center, will be held Sunday beginning at 6:30 a.m., followed by a breakfast. The service is open to the general public, and will be held at the Protestant Student center. The Easter theme will be further pursued at the regular 10:30 a.m. service. All are welcome. Two Intermountain school girls will be received into membership by baptism. Activities for next week include a church supper on Monday night, beginning at 6: 15 p.m. Two guest pastors and their wives will be present from Denver, Colo. Each family should bring a casserole dish, plus salad and dessert. Childrens Bible classes (Preschool through the sixth grade) are held regularly on Tuesdays at 3:45 p.m. A Lutheran church in Ogden preaching. No Holy Communion will be celebrated. On Thursday morning at 10 a.m. there will be Bible study at Holy Cross church. DillS Senior To Appear Jelesnik's Talent Showcase Sunday at 3:30 p.m. on Channel 5. Effie King, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Cazier, 355 North First East, auditioned last week and was invited to appear on the program. The show, which features statewide talent, is viewed on KSL TV. Local Student Presbyterian Our Easter service will be held at 10 a.m. with Dr. A. Walton Roth preaching. We will enjoy special Easter music by the Chancel Choir and Don Callaway. Following the plays the youth will hold a building fund bake sale with lots of delicious goodies prepared by the youth. News was received this past week of the birth of a son to Dr. and Mrs. Russell Nelson of Salt All Lake City. Mrs. be Nelson will remembered to the people of Perry as the former Dantzel White, a sister of Clark White. What makes this such special news is this is the first boy born to the Nelsons after nine daughters. The new little lad arrived in at eight pounds on March 22 in Salt Debbie Anderson, Johnson and Rosalie Johnson. Additional Awards Small girl scout pins were given to the troop committee which include Mary Deiter, Marilyn Wright and Julia Waters. A special friendship pin was given to Lois Nelson as our last years committee woman. The girls are now preparing themselves for day camp which will be June 5 through June 9. The Perry PTA will hold their April meeting, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the school multipurpose room. Speaker for the evening will be Pat Fernandex, a mathematician from Weber State. Also during the evening elections for the new 1972-7- 3 officers will be held with Mrs. Evonne Adams running for president; Mrs. Rose May Smith and Mrs. LaDene Christensen for vice president and Mrs. Bonnie Tomlinson and Mrs. Alice Jensen for Sec. tres. Raymond Reeder 606 North Third West, displays the winning ticket and his prize, a portable black and white television, given away recently by the Rocket chapter of Credit Women International. On hand for the presentation were Kelly Goss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland R. Goss, who picked the winning ticket and Evelyn Anderson, chapter president. Verlaine Barnard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Barnard was named as a finalist in the Sterling Scholarship awards in the foreign language department.
