Rich exchange wedding vows in the Idaho Falls LDS - Mrs. Garden Club Sets Series Of Workshops Spade and Hope Garden club will sponsor a public workshop series in basic flower arranging each Thursday afternoon in August, beginning Aug. 5. The workshop will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursdays in the yard of Mrs. James Brown, 21 North Second East. Included will be talks and on various methods of arrangement, plant conditioning, choice of containers, and other subjects. Flowers will be provided, with persons attending required to bring their own containers. Fee for the course will be $5 for all four, or 51.50 for any single session. Registration will be in advance through Mrs. Quinn Eskelsen, Mrs. Gerald Dolan, or Mrs. Ben Jones. Family Greets Tiny Daughter Mr. and Mrs. Bert Freeman of Hyde Park announce the birth of a baby daughter on J uly 9 in Logan, with little Tiffany weighing in at six pounds and ten ounces. Mom Is the former Nancy Waite, and the couple has a son David, aged 22 months, who Is delighted with his little sister. This is the first granddaughter for Mr. and Mrs. Dean Freeman of Brigham City and the first for Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Freeman. Sharing the grandparent honors are Mr. and Mrs. Owen Waite of Hyde Park. Rae MARGIE AMMONS Couple Circles Date For September Rite Mr. and Mrs. James H. Ammons of Brigham City announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Margie to Richard Cleaveland, son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Cleaveland, also of Brigham City. Both of the prospective wedding partners are graduates of Box Elder High school in the class of 1971. They have circled a late September date for their marriage and will be honored at a reception following the cere- mony. They will make a home in Brigham City until January, when the bridegroom will enter the US Air Force. Church Women Sponsor UNICEF Holiday Cards New edition UNICEF cards can now be ordered from Church Women United, designated local agents for the annual card sales, according to Mrs. Roy Hublitz, UNICEF coordinator for the local group. Trial copies of the 1971 editions are available for advance orders for the cards at present, with an assortment to be on sale locally later in the fall. P Bear River Mavericks Bear River Mavericks met at the park on June 8 and president Dawn vice Holmgren; president, Tamra Holmgren; secretary, Michelle Burt; reporter, Tammy Grover; and treasurer, Jeff Gardner. Then we talked about raising money for the club, painting chutes as a community project and then had a water race with our horses. Our leader Is Kay Oman and our Jr. leader is Robbin Holmgren. We met again on June 16 at the park. Meeting was called to order by Dawn Holmgren. We discussed our Trail ride and horsemanship clinic. We talked about safety around horses. The Remdes became acquainted with Mi3S Nancy Steven, granddaughter of the Kotters, while she was attending school in Germany. Miss Steven is from Indianapolis, Ind. but is living with the Freemans while she attends summer school at BYU. While she was in Germany Miss Steven was looking up Kotter genealogy and through a mutual acquaintance was introduced to Mrs. Remde who is a descendent of the Kotters. The Remdes have been visiting in Vancouver, Wash, with a son who is going to school there and made a special trip to Utah for the reunion Saturday. The reunion, which is held annually for descendents of the Brigham City, Pioneer Henry Sr. reunion, Kotter, descendents was extended also the deto include scendents of August Kotter, pioneer of Elsinore, Utah and Frederick Kotter of Hausten-becGermany who were brothers of Henry Kotter, Sr. The three brothers were born in Haustenbeck. A three tiered wedding cake decorated in white icing accented with blue roses and topped with white wedding bells centered the bridal table at the reception. Huston, Jr., 619 South Fourth East, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne T. Rich of Nampa, Idaho. They were hosts at a dinner for the wedding party at West Banks restaurant in Idaho Falls. For her wedding and reception, the bride wore a gown styled with a daisy lace bodice with a standup daisy cutout collar embroidered with sequins and tiny seed pearls, attached to a gathered empire waist skirt of silk organza over delustered satin with an organza chapel train.
