Elderly Church BIRTHS Worker Dies Mrs. Lillian Blanch t, Wood of 225 South Third West, died Wednesday at her home. f Mrs. Secrist had been a board member of the Bear River stake Primary and also had been a Relief society teacher in the Brigham City Second ward. She was a member of the Sego Lily Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was born Nov. 9, 1872, in Farmington, a daughter of Jonathon D. and Cathleen B. Bird Wood. She was reared in Farmington. On Feb. 4, 1891, she was married to Thomas Edwin Secrist in the Logan LDS temple. They homesteaded in Garland and came to Brigham City in 1913. Mr. Secrist died 15 years are one son and one daughter: Grant J. Secrist of Moreland, Idaho; and Mrs. Norman (Alice) Nelson of Brigham 10 23 City; grandchildren; six st 84, Se-cri- st, Willard Native Passed Away In California Mack Hymas Dalton, 54, of Wasco, Calif., formerly of Willard, died in the Mercy hospital at Bakersfield, Calif., on April 23, of a heart ailment. Mr. Dalton was born in Willard on Feb. 15, 1903, a son of Mathew Williarfi and Saaah Ann Hyman Dalton. He received his early education at the Willard Central school 'at at Box Elder High school. He has resided in California for the past 16 years; where fee has been county agricultural inspector for Kern county for the past 13 years. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Dawson Dalton, and one daughter, Kathryn Ann Dalton of Wasco; a sister, Ida Mae Holbrook of Salt Lake City; and a brother, Fred W. Dalton, of Boise, Idaho. Funeral services were held fn Wasco on Friday, April 26, with Bernal J. Edwards, president of the Wasco branch of the 13 church conducting. Men from the Department of Agriculture served as pallbearers and members of the fire department were honorary pallbearers. Interment was in the Wasco cemetery.
