D. S. church. Always an active church member he served as an L.D.S. missionary to Norway from 1905 to 1907. His words of consolation have aided many during death of loved ones. (Many a fine sermon has been preached by Mr. Knudsen In funerals. He is known for his sincerity and helpfulness. He recently retired following many years service with the U. S. post office. Seven of their eleven chil dren were present at festivities in his honor on Sunday.
