Mrs. Thorpes hus band is chief surgeon of the 122nd station hospital in Sendai, Japan. While he is away, Mrs. Thorpe is completing work for her degree in business at the University of Utah. Also employed by ILee Ac counting Service besides Mr. Lees wife and daughters, are Elaine Carter, Mjs. Larraine Jfnudsen and Joan Norman. Perhaps the dean of Brig- ham City dentists is Dr. J. L. Huchel, who has recently completed a move from the First Security bank building to No. 6, Professional Center, HI East Forest street. She said that he is also in Korea, but that he is very impressed with Tokyo, where he was spending a few days leave. Mrs. Alice Davis celebrated a birthday last week. Congratulations. Miss Beverly (Fredricksen returned from her vacation in Nevada and California to enroll in a business college in Ogden. She, was accompanied home by her father, Chris Fredricksen. We are all glad to welcome Beverly back. Seven mothers attended the P.TA. conference in Bear River last week. They were, Mrs. Wynn Hunsaker, Mrs. Wallace Redelings, Mrs. Jesse (Nicholas, Mrs. Jesse Wulf, Mrs. (Rex Barker, Mrs. A. V. Smoot and Mrs. J. H. Norman. Corinne has three new teachers this year. Mr. (Roland Rigby, fifth grade; Mrs. Phena B. Weight, first grade, and Mrs. Pearl S.' Glenn, fourth grade. We wish them welcome and a good school year.
