Show i t Sixth Ward Primary Conference Features Music Festival , "The Children Sing" Ward Primary conference, in the form of a music festival, The Children Sing," was presented in the Sixth ward chapel on Sunday evening, March 30, with President Norene Oldroyd conducting, , Jennie Reeves was Primary counselor in charge. The songs which were sung by. a chorus composed of the entire Primary membership were directed by chorister, Erma Hansen, and accompanied by organist, Rozella Tingey. Opening prayer was given by Bruce Erdman. Section one, was introduced by reader, Elaine (Rasmussen, a trio composed of Chad Sheffield, Vertis Anderson and Alan Tingey sang. Section two, Of The Gospel, was introduced by reader, Joan Reeves. Section Of three. Strength of Character, was introduced by reader Jay Eastley. Section four, Of Home and Family was introduced by reader, Kathleen IHanseix' Section V, Of Special Days and Holidays, was introduced by reader, Val Roberts. Section Six, Of Nature and Seasons, was introduced by reader, Dale Erdman. Marilyn Tingey introduced part seven, For Special Occasions. Closing prayer was offered by Paul Kotter. The a Family Upstairs, three act play was presented on Tuesday evening, April 1, in the Fifth ward amusement hall. The play was presented under the direction of Mrs. May Pulsipher and Mrs. Marjorie The play was well received by large group of Fifth warders. Those in the cast were: Nor man Day, Donna Fay Roberts, Jerry Ohman, Shirley Wixom, Donna Rhodes, Stephen Bunnell, RobJr., Reese Jensen, Willis bins and Connie Jensen. Make-uwas under the direction of Diane Jensen assisted by Gwen Seely and Pauline Andersen. Ruth Johnson and Margene 'Bird were property managers. During the play candy was sold with proceeds going to the improvement of stage properties. Candy was furnished by offeers and teachers of the Mutual and Beehive girls.
