At 6:30, there will be a preliminary meet for the younger boys who have not had as much experience as the older boys. In last years state meet, the Darts and Bees tied for third place. Both schools boast powerful and well balanced clubs this year and it should be a close meet all the way. Coach Andy Anderson of the Darts has turned out many a state winning team since he has been the head boxing and wrestling coach of the Davis team. Coach Sam Gordon of the Bees here has only been coaching for three years. During those three years, he has turned out teams and many three state champions which mark top-notc- them as real competitors in those two sports. Weber took the state championship last year. When they played the Darts last week, they were defeated, and they only won five or six matches out of the whole meet. Whether the Bees can hold the powerful Darts or not is still a question.
