Tax Included Legion Auxiliary Leader For Coming Year Activities Outlines American which Five major activities will occupy much of the attention of the Americal Legion the coming Auxiliary during year were outlined by Clair Nelson, Unit president, at a special meeting of the Auxiliarys memat bership campaign workers the War Memorial home yesterday. Declaring that the need for increased efforts in these fields was urgent, Mrs. Nelson urged the membership workers to carry information about them to all eligible women in the city. She outlined the major auxiliary activities as: 1. Service to war veterans and their families. 2. Welfare children of veterans. 3. Projects to help make the community a better place in which to live. 4. Support of thp American Legions national security program. 5. Americanism work to maintain the ideals and principles of free government in America. "These activities will form the backbone of the Auxiliarys program during the year ahead, said Mrs. Nelson.
