Sunday-schoo- l, 10:30 a. m. Primary, Monday afternoons at 3:30. Triesthood meeting on Monday report the supply there will be sufficient to provide for the ade-quate needs of the camp. Los Angeles City spent enormous sums of money for its water sup-ply, which had to be piped thru mountains and across deserts, because that city realized the value of a water supply was one of the tnost valued assets of any community. .Look at the large sums of money spent- - by tfje cities' and. towns of this state in furnishing their people with water, the best thatan, be gotten. Salt Lake's ;? water supply can be looked upon with envy by many other cities," but it cost3 money to keep it going. How many people years ago were com-pelled to drink water in this camp that looked quite green, it is said from the copper compo-nents contained therein. The ex-isting Town Board have eradi-cated this to a great extent, bet-ter streams have been added to the old source of supply and con-ditions greatly improved, but the present system is by no means perfect, and on Tuesday next, October the ninth, a special elec-tion will be held for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors as shall have paid a property tax here in the year next preceding this election, the following" proposition: "Shall the negotiable coupon bonds of the Town of Bingham Canyon, Salt Lake County, Utah, in the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) be issued and sold for the pur-pose of defraying the expense of increasing, improving, enlarging, extending, perfecting and adding ,to the present waterworks sys-tem of said town and securing an additional water supply for the purpose of supplying and distributing water to the inhabi-tants thereof, the same to be owned and controlled by said municipality?" i n !!. j Shall Bingham Have j a Better Water Supply good water has been before the For many years the question of people and the Town Board of Bingham. The present system altho good is not the best by far and an attempt is being made to get a source of supply that will be the best water that can be obtained in the Bingham district. Analysts report the water at Dry Fork to be as free from basteria and as pure as can be obtained r n these mountains.
