Show BUM II ELECTS HEW OFFICERS Bert Fitzgerald elected Cammander for 1921 and Dr. John Anderson, named post Commander. Bingham Post of the American Legion Leg-ion held an election Tuesday evening in the quarters of Fire Department number one. Two candidates were nominated for each office and the rivalry riv-alry was quite keen. These officers are to serve during' 1921, and are as follows: ' Bert Fitzgerald, commander, David Lyon, 1st vice commander, R. I. Ferrell, second vice commander,. earnest uean, Adjusiant, uan Nipple, treasurer, Clarence Grant, social officer, offi-cer, and the following executive committee com-mittee was named: David Geffin, Hans Hansen, Elgin Butte,' Delbert Sumerville and W. D. Armstrong. Dr. John Anderson who has served the legion so faithfully 'duringg the past year as commander was given the new office which was created especially especi-ally for him, that of "Post Commander." Comman-der." Following the election of officers a banquet was held at which Dr. John Anderson acted as toastmaster and made a short address to his comrades. All of the officers elected were also called on and each responded in his own unique manner. Others who re- sponded were Mr. Norberg, Sam Fara- co and Mr. Wasdarw. |
