Olsen of Copperton announce the marriage of their daughter, Karen, to Dennis1 Eugene Miller, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Miller of Bingham Can- - yon, Friday evening, October I 7. The marriage ceremony Was solemnized at 8)30 o'clock irt candlelight service at the home of the parents of the bride in the presence of immediate families and close friends. Bishop Dean T. Mflan of Copperton Ward offici-ated. The couple were unattended. The newlyweds are making their home in Salt Lake City. J Out of town relatives here for the wedding were the bride's two sisters, Mrs. Jack Robison from Los Angeles, Calif, and Mrs. Edward Beck from Fort Worth, Texas, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wil-liam E. Pearce of Pleasant Grove, and an aunt Mrs. LaVar Hooley and daughter, Nina Mae, and a cousin, Judy Goodrich, all from Orem. MINERETTE CLUB It happened. The biKReat news interest in years. The Minerettes have new uniforms. Some thought this would never come, but changes are inevitable and the club mem-bers are sporting the new outfits. The exciting ensemble includes a royal blue basic dress made with a jewel neckline, short sleeves and la pleated-- , skirt. For school, it is topped with a large white collar which has a blue "M" on it. For drills, the dress will be worn with a white wesket. Both the dress and the wesket are made of a luxurious nylon-woo- l fabric. This year the club decided to have shoes to match the uniform. They are plain royal blue pumps. The entire outfit was designed by the club members dur-ing the summer. Linda Long GGGG Club met at the home of Mrs. R. G. Frazier in Salt Lake City for a one o'clock luncheon and bridge on Thursday of last week. Special guests were Mrs. A. C. Larick, Mrs. Elsie Flynn and Mrs. Neva Jensen. ' Others present were Mrs. L. S. . Breckon, Mrs. Louis Buchman, Mrs. J. D. Shilling. Mrs. Joe Kemp, Mrs. W. S. Jones, Mrs. M. A. Cotter, Mrs. Roy Shilling and Mrs. George Bolman. Prizes were won by Mrs. Breckon, Mrs. Buchman, Mrs. Bolman and Mrs. Jensen. Mrs. Alice Brisk returned Thurs-day morning of last week from a month's visit in Denver, Colo, with relatives. Bingham Ward Primary will hold their annual Halloween party at the wardhouae next Tuesday, Octo-ber 28 at 3 p.m. There will be dart games, fish pond and also home-made candy for sale.
