The table was beautifully decorated with ap-pointments carried out in blue and gold, the school colors. The cake was won by Mrs. Marker. Mrs. Ray Cowdell and Mrs. Monte Jones and son Denny vis-ited Sunday in Riverton with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cowdell and in Provo with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Calderwood and children, Robbie and Cathy. Mrs. Ray Cowdell visited with Mrs. Ethel Argyle Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs, Ray Cowdell were visitors Saturday evening' of Mr. and Mrs. Monte Jones and son Denny of Salt Lake City. Mrs. V. S. Barlow was hostess to her club at her home on Wed-nesday evening of last week. Prizes at bridge were won by Mrs. Sam Feraco and Mrs. Roy C. Match. Winning prizes at bingo were Mrs. Harold Chesler, Mrs. Earl Evans and Mrs. Carl Kanniainen. Hospital-lit- y chairman, Mrs. Mary Zac- - Friends of Mrs. Tillic Mogle of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Bingham, met to congratulate her on her marriage to James Franklin of Los Angeles at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Jones in Midvale Tuesday, Feb-ruary 16. Joan Johnson was hostess to her club at the home of her par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson. Refreshments were ser-ved to Sharlene Foster, Jackie Hall, Bobbie Lee Johnson, Joyce DeCol, Rena Joy Coleman, Max-in- e Garrett, Joan Cowdell, Bar-bara Brown and the hostess. Saturday evening was the time selected by the birthday club to honor Mrs. Dean Ham and Bill Johnson on their birthday anni-versaries. Helping them cele-brate were Mrs. Johnson, Mr. Ham, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Hur-ley, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. John Brown. Din-ner and dancing were enjoyed and the honored guests were presented lovely birthday pres-ents. Enjoying lovely refreshments after the Bingham-Murra- y bas-ketball game last Friday even-ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Smernoff and daughter, Luida were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnson and children, Bobbie Lee and Johnny, and Miss Jo-A-Anderson. Mrs. George Dahlstrom was hostess to members of the pin-ochle club at her home Tuesday evening. Prizes were won by Mrs. W. A. Fike, Mrs. Frank Zaccaria and Mrs. J. A. Fike. Tasty refreshments were served to nine. Attendin gthe funeral services for Ira Church of Provo were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pollock and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pollock of Bing-ham, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Long of Copperton, Mr. and Mrs. Mc- Kay Pollock of Magna, and Al Pollock of Midvale. Mr. Church was Mrs. Albert Pollock's fath-er. Copperton Study Guild met recently with Mrs. Norma Nich-ols as hostess and Mrs. Lucille Brisk assisting hostess. Mrs. Ada Curtis gave a short talk on how the Primary Children's Hospital came to be and told about - the volunteer help given by differ-ent organizations. Miss Janell Hansen played two marimba so-los accompanied by her sister, Miss Roslyn Hansen. Roslyn sang two beautiful numbers. Balance of the evening was spent mak-ing stuffed animals for the Pri-mary Children's hospital. Mr. and Mrs. H. 11. Gust were dinner guests in Salt Lake City Sunday at the home of their dau-ghter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Goodwin and son Ben-ny. Mrs. Elmer V. Knudsen de-lightfully entertained the Cop-perton evening club at her home Monday evening. A lovely buf-fet dinner was served. Acacia and pussy willows formed the table centerpiece. Present were Miss Mabel Neprud, Miss Laura Marshall, Mrs. Robert Bailey, Mrs. J. F. Barkle, Mrs. R. J. Smith, Mrs. Eugene Morris, Mrs. Harold Nielsen, Mrs. A. D. Chris-tensen and Mrs Jack Knudsen. Afterwards bridge was played with prizes awarded to Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Christensen. Mrs. Smith received the bingo prize. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Poulson were dinner guests Sunday of Mi', and Mrs. Bill Russell and daughters, Robyn and ReNee, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Peterson and sons, Bobby and Rodney, of Salt Lake City enjoyed dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Al-bert Cheever Sunday. They also visited at the Cheever home on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Clinton Poulson enter-tained at a lovely luncheon Wed-nesday honoring Mrs. P. O. Loveless of Sandy on her birth-day anniversary. Other guests were Mrs. T. W. Rogers and Mrs. B. D. Bennion of Salt Lake City, Mrs. F. M. Davis of Midvale, Mrs. Elmer V. Knudsen and Mrs. Bill Russell and daughters, Ro-byn and ReNee. A lovely gift was presented Mrs. Loveless.
