LATIMER ON WEDNESDAY A beautiful midsummer church ri-remony Wednesday evening united in marriage Miss LeJeune Granquist, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Grumiuist, 130 Carr loik. and Jack 1!. Latimer, both ot this cay. Tin- Rev. Roy H. Cii hon of Ogden performed the iii.iiii.ige service at the Zion Lull,, Lu-ll,, ran church in Salt Lake City. The lovely bride wore a white .-,atm dress with a long train and white lace bodice. Her veil was of lace and her bouquet of while and orchid single roses. Froeked alike, her attendants wore chiffon dresses with full skirts, puffed sleeves and shirred boil ices, and carried bouquets of sweet peas and roses. The matron .( honor, Mrs. Frank L. Smith of Union, wore pale green; Miss Lorraine Caulfield, maid of honor, hon-or, chose light blue; Miss Beulah Uiisen of Salt Lake City and Miss Helen Cotter of Copperton, bridesmaids, wore pink. James Barkle Jr. acted as best man, and the ushers included Walter Granquist, Howard Bellows, Bel-lows, Coleman Smith and John Carter of Bingham; Robert Bonar and John J. Shilling of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Granquist, the bride's mother, wore a chic dress of light blue lace. Mrs. Kenneth F. Hewitt, Salt Lake City, the mother of the groom, was gowned gown-ed in black crepe. Both wore gar-denia gar-denia and rose corsages. About one hundred and seventy-five guests called during the evening at the reception given at the Delta Delta Delta sorority house, 1431 East First South street. After a short honeymoon the couple will be at home at the Princess apartments. Both young people are former students of the University of Utah, where the bride was affiliated with the Delta Delta Delta sorority. Mr. Latimer is an engineer for the Utah Copper company. |
