Show HARRY WHITTEN WIBSATDRDAY Requiem high mass for Harry Whitten, of 136 3rd East, Salt Lake City, who died enroute to a Salt Lake hospital Tuesday, June 10, at 11:45 a.m. after a heart attack, will be held Saturday, Sat-urday, June 14, at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Holy Rosary will be said for Mr. Whitten Friday (tonight) at 8 p.m. at 1st South and 4th East, Salt Lake City, where friends may cail tonight (Friday) from 5 until 8:30 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Mr. Whitten was born in England. Eng-land. He married Margaret Bums in Cumberland, England. He has been a resident of Utah for the past 25 years. He was well known here having worked as manager of the R. C. Gem-mell Gem-mell 'Memorial Club several years. He was active in athletics, lie retired three years ago. Surviving hiim are his widow, Salt Lake City; foster son, daughter, dau-ghter, Tom McCann, Santa Monica, Mon-ica, Calif.; Mrs. Mae Redmond, Copperton; brother, two sisters; mother, Mrs. Sarah Wood, all of England. |
