(LOTTS) LATSIS Funeral services for Mrs. Hat-tie Hat-tie McCory (Lotts) Latsis, 77, former Bingham resident, who lived at 77 Holden Street, Mid-vale, Mid-vale, were held 'Monday afternoon, after-noon, September 30 at 2:00 o'clock o'-clock in the Midvale Community Methodist Church. Mrs. Latsis died Friday, September 27th at 8:45 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of complications from a broken hip. She was born October 17, 1879, Poke County, Mo., to Lawrence and LaVira Odell McCory. She was married to Peter Latsis, August 15, 1914, in Evanston, Wyo. They owned and operated a bakery and story in Bingham for 28 years. He died August 14, 1945. A member of the Methodist Church, she was also a member of Rebecca Lodge, Queen of the West 22, where she was Past Noble Grand Lady, of the Lady Eagles and Woodcraft Lodge, and was a former member of the Lady Maccabees known now as the Woman's Benefit Assn. Mrs. Latsis is survived by two sons, Robert, Kearns; James Daniel, Murray; daughter, Mrs. W. M. (Camille) Madsen, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Burial was in Midvale City Cemetery. HELEN MELICH RENKEL Helen Melich Renkel, assistant tax adviser for the Salt Lake County Tax Commission and well known Republican Party worker died Thursday, September 26 at 1 p.m. at her residence, 2424 Walker Ln., Salt Lake City, after a long illness. She was 43. Mrs. Renkel was born in Bingham Canyon, November 29, 1913, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Kalembar Melich. She was married mar-ried to Willy P. Renkel on November No-vember 10, 1952, in Salt Lake City. She is survived by her husband; hus-band; a daughter, Mary Helen, and her step-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Negomir, all of Salt Lake City; two brothers and a sister, Mitchell, 'Moab; Gary J., Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Sophie Borich, Murray. Funeral services were held Monday in Salt Lake City. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. . |
