Show FUNERAL RITES HELD SATURDAY F0R0J1WARNER Funeral services for Orvald Ray 'iFat" Warner, 58, of 113 W. State Highway, Copperton, were held Saturday afternoon, August 2, at 1 o'clock in the Copperton Ward Chapel with Bishop Dean T. Malan officiating. Mr. Warner passed away Thursday, July 31, at 3:15 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering -illness. He was born December 30, 1899 in Nephi, to William A. and Henrietta Hen-rietta Hansen Warner. A painter, he had worked for Kenmecott Copper Corp., for 30 years. He was a member cf the Church of Jesus Christ cf Latter-day Saints. He was first volunteer from Neiphi for service in World War I. A member of the American Legion, he also belonged to the 40 and 8, and was a leader in American Legion Junior (Baseball (Base-ball program. He married Gwen Meranda, September 26, 1923, in Nephi. v, i?V' 1 w :-' ' ' if , 1 , J J p O. R. WARNER Surviving him are his widow, Copperton; 'three daughters, Mrs. Jchn E. (Mildred) Anderson, Granger; Mrs. Keith E. (Maxine) Davies, Murray; Mrs. Louis J. (Dorothy) Smith, Sandy; eight grandchildren; three brothers, William H., Salt Lake City; Earl and Clarence, 'Nephi, and a sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Elmo H. (Thelma) Hansen, Han-sen, American Fork. Burial was in West Jordan cemetery. o |
