Show FORMER RESIDENT DIES Willard Winner Garrett, 63, resident of Bingham Canyon for many ycrs, died Tuesday, October Octo-ber 12, at 4:45 p.m. at his residence resi-dence 4275 9th, Salt Lake City, following a lingering illness. A son of R. B. and Mallulda Elam Garrett, he was born March .13, 1891, in Bruno, Ark. He was married to Lavantha King March 13, 1913, in Salt Lake City. He was a member of the LDS church and was an electrician for 30 years with Kennecott Copper Corp., Utah .Copper Division. Surviving him are his widow, mother, son, J. Willis Garrett, San Francisco; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hakanson, Bingham Canyon, and Mrs. Mavis Watkins, Mill Creek; brother, J. Horace Garrett, Pueblo, Colo; three sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Mabel Hanna, Tucum-cari, Tucum-cari, N. Mex.; Mrs. Una Powell, Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Mavis Randall, Albuquerque, N. Mex., and eight grandchildren. |
