Golesh, 36, of Pleasant Hill, Calif., who died Friday, August 17, of leukemia in a Berkeley, Calif., hospital, were held in the Little Chapel of the Flowers in Walnut Creek Tuesday morning, August 21. Mr. Golesh was born January 10, 1920, in Bingham Canyon, a son of Eli and Martha Golesh. He married Stella Thomas July 4, 1942, in Fresno, Calif. He is a graduate of Bingham High school. He served in the U. S. Coast Guard dun ' World War II. Surviving him are his widow, two sons, Danny K. and Russell, and a daughter, Ronelle, all of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; his father, Bingham; a brother and three sisters, Nick Golesh, and Mrs. Lillian Crabtree, Bingham; Mrs. Mary McDonald, Murray, and Mrs. Helen Maxwell Miami, Fla. Interment was in the National cemetery at San Bruno, Calif., with military honors. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Crabtree and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Golesh of Bingham and Mrs. Mary McDonald McDon-ald of Murray went to California for the services. BOB SAVICIl BURIED THURSDAY Funeral services were conducted conduc-ted Thursday (yesterday) at 4:00 p.m. in the Highland Boy Community Com-munity , House for Bob Savich, 50, who died Sunday, August 19 in a Salt Lake hospital of a perforated per-forated ulcer. He was born July 12, 1906, in Serbia,, Yugoslavia, to Peter and Bessie -Mandarich Dragavic. He is a former Kennecott Copper Corp. employee. Surviving him are the following brothers and sisters, Mike and Nick Savich and Mrs. Mildred Rakioh, Bingham Bing-ham Canyon; Louie Savich, Gold Run, Calif.; Mrs. Onica Barach, Nevada City, Calif., and Mrs. George Nash, San Francisco, Calif. Interment was in Bingham City cemetery under direction of Bingham Mortuary. JORDAN SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT DIES Arthur E. Peterson, 63, of Sandy, superintendent of Jordan School District since 1945, end church and Boy Scout leader, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, mor-ning, August 21, in a Salt Lake City hospital after a short illness. ill-ness. He had been ill since Friday. Fri-day. He attended the Jordan Board of Education meeting oh Thursday night and appeared in good health, board members said. Mr. Peterson had devoted his life to education of children in Salt Lake County, serving in both Jordan and Granite School Districts. Funeral services will toe held today (Friday) at 1:00 p.m. in the Mt. Jordan Junior High School auditorium, 9300 400 East. Interment will be in Sandy City cemetery. |
